Privacy Policy

Coaching is a collaborative, professional relationship between coach and client. As a coach, I am committed to adhering to the ICF Code of Ethics, which outlines my ethical and legal responsibilities to clients, sponsors, coaching colleagues, and the public at large.

Legally, the coach-client relationship is not confidential, and communications are not protected by any legally recognized privilege. However, unless compelled legally, I do not disclose any information specifically about a client, nor do I use a client’s name as a reference without the client’s written consent.

In addition, I adhere to the following guidelines;

  • Reporting client information: When reporting data regarding coaching hours and client demographics is needed, I submit aggregated numbers that are not linked to specific clients. However, no personal or coaching session information is shared.

  • Recording coaching sessions: I may record coaching sessions for my use in developing client coaching solutions while preserving clients' anonymity. Recordings will not be accessible to anyone else and will be deleted immediately after use.

  • Confidentiality: According to the ethics of the coaching profession, coaches may anonymously or hypothetically share topics from coaching sessions with other coaching professionals for training, supervision, mentoring, evaluation, and professional development.

  • Data gathering: As part of my ongoing research, I may request clients' permission to collect data anonymously in aggregate or individually. Data used anonymously may include coaching categories of interest, types of coaching provided, or client quotes. Informed consent will be obtained from clients when data is collected for research purposes.
